My experience with this girls’ hostel has been extremely disappointing. One of the major concerns is the unreasonably high electricity charges, where residents are required to pay around ₹12 to ₹13 per unit, which is significantly higher than the usual electricity rates. This places an unnecessary financial burden on the residents.
Moreover, the hostel management claims to provide 24/7 power backup, but this promise appears to be misleading. During power cuts, the backup system is often not turned on because no responsible staff member is available to operate it, leaving residents without electricity for long periods.
Another serious issue is the lack of proper security. For a girls’ hostel, safety should be the highest priority, yet there is no security guard present, which raises serious concerns about the safety and well-being of the residents.
In addition, the lift is frequently not working, which creates significant inconvenience, especially for residents staying on the upper floors. The RO water purifier is also not functioning properly, which is a major issue since access to clean drinking water is a basic necessity.
The quality of food and beverages is also disappointing. The milk served appears to be heavily diluted, almost like water, and daily fruits are not provided, which reflects poorly on the hostel’s food standards and nutrition.
To make matters worse, it also appears that fake positive reviews have been posted, including one that seems to have been written by the hostel’s own warden, which raises concerns about the honesty and transparency of the management.
